It's okay

It's okay to cry,
And it's okay to ask why.
But make sure to listen,
When a reply is given.

Often times the truth we seek,
Isn't unveiled in the time we'd like it to meet.

But God is good and someday the answers will be made clear.
Maybe not in the way we thought, or maybe the thought we feared.
But every day is a gift and a life you could help change.
A testimony to the strength you have and to God's truth you have obtained.

Hard times faced,
A new glimpse on life embraced.
Courage you've shown,
Your faith in God has grown.

Keep the Faith

As your heart is aching,
For fear of the unknown.
Remember your father loves you,
And cannot be overthrown.

Even though this all makes no sense,
Don't doubt his love and his forever presence.

So don't loose heart,
And don't loose faith.
God loves his children,
And his healing power is great.

The burdens of this place,
Are only temporary.
Our lives in his hands.
He will always carry.

As long as we hold on,
To the hope Salvation brings,
We can smile and know,
That someday we'll receive,
A life of no more suffering.

Stay Strong

Why bad things happen to good people, often seems unfair.
Your beautiful inside and out but the world just doesn't care.

It would like to eat you up and swallow you whole.
But God is bigger than this entire world and is not going to let you go.

Cling close to him and all you know is true.
He's the healer and Deliverer of all your going through.

Your fate is not in the hands of what your doctors may have told you.
It's in your mind and in God's time,
So let him love and hold you.

In Your Hands Lord

Sometimes we wish things would stay the same.
Just how there meant to be.

Dinner at 5pm, around the table,
with friends or family.

But life's not that easy,
I'm starting to see.
It's unfair pick of hurt and calamity.

So try to remember,
It's up to our maker,
It's time to release control.
And hand it over to our creator,
The only one who can make us whole.

We all know that's what we'll need.
And we know he can provide.
Comfort to our shaken world.
Growing closer to him with every stride.

A Docters Tribute

I just want to thank you,

For all that you do.

You've been my fathers go to guy and friend,

During all he's going through.

You have been blessed with a beautiful family of your own,

And I hope they will grow to know the kindness you have shown.

The time that you had to spend away,

Has allowed many to live another day.

A selfless gift you have given.

We are thankful you are so knowledgeable and so driven.

I pray that God will bless you for the compassion you have had.

For fighting in his corner,

And helping us keep our dad.

Forever Loved, Forever Missed

If dad were to look back on his life,
He'd want everyone to see,
That he loved his family and our God most importantly.

None of us saw this coming,
And we don't understand why.
Such an amazing man who loved the Lord,
Was chosen that day to die.

Of all the men in this world, he deserved the best it could offer.
His dream of owning a boat, was that to much to ask for?

A few more mornings to snuggle with his wife,
A few more motorcycles rides with his son, doesn't that sound right?

But maybe the reward dad deserved was more than this world could offer.
And maybe the best gift you could give was for him to meet his creator and his master.

For he loved you God and lived everyday for you.
He taught us kids to worship you and love you too.
And in sadness I may cry out and ask why.
But I know inside on you I can still rely.

To comfort me when my heart is broken.
To hold me with waiting arms wide open.
To make me feel special just like my dad always did.
He reminded me I was beautiful, ever since I was a kid.

Dad told us to not let our lives be consumed with distraction,
From living your purpose and living life using good discretion.
So I will heed to those words,
And hold them close to my heart.
Thinking of you dad before every decision,
Even though we are apart.

Thank you God for sending your son to die for us,So we may have Eternal Life.
I can picture dad waiting at your gates with a smile so bright.
To know I will see dad again, is a precious sight.

That look of pride he gave us kids every time we were around,
Will be spread across his face,
As I run through those pearly gates.

To praise my God and join my dad and say that, "God is Great!"
