Poetry with Purpose

I feel that God has given me a talent to write with my heart, to feel the hurt and pain of others around me and a desire to encourage. I started writing childrens stories in honor of my son who we almost lost to kidney failure in April 2008. I would love to have a childrens book series, so feedback is welcome. Please enjoy reading "Lance's Learning Adventures." along with other meaningful writings

Keep the Faith

As your heart is aching,
For fear of the unknown.
Remember your father loves you,
And cannot be overthrown.

Even though this all makes no sense,
Don't doubt his love and his forever presence.

So don't loose heart,
And don't loose faith.
God loves his children,
And his healing power is great.

The burdens of this place,
Are only temporary.
Our lives in his hands.
He will always carry.

As long as we hold on,
To the hope Salvation brings,
We can smile and know,
That someday we'll receive,
A life of no more suffering.
